Private Deal Conference (privateDC) (www.privatedc.net) proved to be an effective instrument to realize this goal. Once a year world best entrepreneurs and investors from b-to-v Investorenkreis and b-to-v network tour trough the most exciting regions of the world while sharing best practices on entrepreneurial private investing, networking with local entrepreneurial private investors and VCs and internatinationalising “deals done”.
privateDC 2007 took place in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore. During this one-week tour through the most dynamic business cities in Asia, 45 top-tier European Private Investors met with over 300 like-minded Asian Angel Investors, VCs and Technology entrepreneurs, considered 25 investment proposals and enjoyed the most considerable cultural highlights of the region. The tangible outcome of the conference is considerable: three joint equity investments have been closed between European and Chinese investors.
In May 2008, private DC was held in Russia and the Ukraine. privateDC was organised in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kyiv. In October 2008, b-to-v Circle of Investors visited Turkey, in May 2009 - Israel. The next privateDCs will be held in Israel in June 2010 and in Silicon Valley in October 2010.
