In February and March 2007, b-to-v organised its second Private Deal Conference (privateDC) in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore. During this one-week tour through the most dynamic business cities in Asia, 45 top-tier European Private Investors, mainly members of the b-to-v Investorenkreis met with over 300 like-minded Asian Angel Investors, VCs and Technology entrepreneurs.

Moreover, privateDC featured 25 investment opportunities which were presented by Beijing-, Shanghai- and Singapore-based entrepreneurs. During panel discussions, delegates had the opportunity to exchange their experience with first-class Asian entrepreneurs. Besides, participants enjoyed the most considerable cultural highlights of China as well as a trip to Kukup (Malaysia) and a golf tournament in Singapore.

privateDC 2007 built bridges between Europe, the US and China from a private investor perspective. So far, the tangible outcome of the trip is considerable: Three joint equity investments have been closed between Chinese and European investors including Tokiva, Inc. and iXiGO. b-to-v plans to continue the privateDC initiative in 2008 and will tour Russia and the Ukraine.
